Grant competition for women and men willing to initiate or expand current business

Implementation period: October 2014-December 2015 

Sponsor: UNDP Moldova through the Joint Integrated Local Development Programme 

Goal:  Economic empowerment of JILDP communities through capacity building, coaching and support in management of 10 income generating activities.  

Objective:

• To create employment opportunities in JILDP communities.

Results:

• Call for applications launched;  
• Developed and delivered trainings for start-ups on business planning and management and funding procedures;      
• Coached the selected participants in business plan write-up and supported them in submission of business plans;
• 10 grants of 75,000 lei provided to young entrepreneurs to initiate and expand current businesses;
• Support in management of 10 start-ups and expanded businesses.
